2010 Action Days News March 23rd
With just 40 days to go, in our 60th year, to the first of this year’s Action Days, just a reminder that it is a good time to apply for your stand space.
With all prices held for this year and the same offer of free display space and admission tickets to accepted Clubs, plus heavily reduced price track time for those that want to venture out onto the track, our long established Action Days provide a great event at reasonable cost.
Saturday 24th April – Spring Performance Car Action Day
As the name suggests it is open to clubs and groups of all types of performance car and, currently, almost 60 clubs have applied for space so the main Paddock area is filling up fast.
Saturday 12th June – Classics and Sports Car Action Day
The theme for this year’s day is celebrating the Japanese sports car, so for those clubs or groups owning anything from a Suzuki Cappuccino to a Mazda MX5 or Nissan 300Z then we will look forward to your application.
Many of our traditional visitors have already applied for space and for those Clubs who enjoy the event, but perhaps feel their cars too slow for the circuit we have introduced some new escorted sessions where drivers will follow a pace car at reasonable road speeds.
Saturday 11th September - AJEC Summer Performance Car Action Day
This is a repeat of the popular April event but with the added spectacle of the AJEC parade featuring some of the world’s top super cars. This year we are including Subaru Saturday with Subaru only sessions (subject to demand) and a dedicated Subaru parking area, so we welcome applications for all the many clubs whose members enjoy this iconic car.
Saturday 25th September – MiniWorld Action Day
It does what it says in the title, if it’s a Mini then you are welcome. This year it is the 50th anniversary of the Mini Van, the Countryman and the Traveller and whilst all are getting rarer we hope to create a special show area to give owners of these cars their own celebration.
