Autosport International and Competitor Open Day
Castle Combe Circuit begin their 60th anniversary season by exhibiting at Autosport International, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from Thursday 14th January until Sunday 17th January. You will be able to find us in Hall 7 on stand number 7240. Full details of all 2010 events at Castle Combe Circuit are contained in 'The Guide' which will be available from the stand, together with details for raceday competitors, and information on our Driving Experiences, Track Days and Action Days. Thursday 14th January will also see the official launch of the new book "Castle Combe Circuit - The First 60 Years" published by TFM Publishing and written by Paul Lawrence and Pete Stowe to commemorate the Circuit's 60th Anniversary. The book will be officially unveiled at 10.00am on the stand where Circuit Chairman, Howard Strawford will be on hand to sign copies. There will also be a limited number of the Castle Combe Racing Club calendar available to purchase while stocks last.
For competitors unable to attend Autosport International, then Castle Combe Circuit will be holding a repeat running of the successful Competitor Open Day on the following Sunday 24th January. The event takes place in the Strawford Centre between 10am and 3pm and provides an opportunity for drivers to sign up for the Castle Combe Championships, book testing, ARDS courses, track days and race entries, and talk with a variety of teams offering 'arrive and drive' packages. The Championship Scrutineering team will also be on hand to answer any questions. For the teams it will introduce them to prospective drivers with the Paddock and Strawford Centre Garage area available for static displays. An MSA licenced doctor will also be in attendance to carry out licence medical examinations in the Medical Centre (advance booking is highly recommended as last years event kept the Doctor busy all day).
To book your medical examination or for teams wishing to exhibit, please contact Rodney Gooch at Castle Combe Circuit on 01249 782417 or e-mail: Rodney@CastleCombeCircuit.co.uk
