Carboot Cash Bonus For Village Hall

Castle Combe Village Hall and Museum raised more than £1,276 at the fourth giant car boot sale of the season at Castle Combe circuit on Sunday June 13.

The total was the second highest raised so far this summer at the car boot sales which have now raised more than £4,800 for local good causes.

The village hall and museum were one of eight local organisations chosen to raise funds at the monthly car boot sales which attract large crowds of buyers and hundreds of stall holders who enjoy all the modern facilities that a major motorsport venue can offer.

Luckington School will be hoping for a similar result from their fund raising at the next car boot sale at the popular motorsport venue on July 11.
The car boot sales are the largest of their kind in the region and sellers can set up their stalls from 7.30am while the car boot sale runs from 8am-2pm.

Sales sites cost £8 for a car, £10 for a small van and £25 for large vans.

Visitors pay 50p each which goes to the charity of the day.
