New Drivers Welcomed at Open Day
Track day drivers looking to make the step up to circuit racing are being encouraged to attend the Castle Combe Circuit’s annual Driver Open Day at the end of January.
Showcasing the circuit’s popular and long standing championships for Formula Ford, Saloons and Sports GTs, the day provides a ‘one stop’ opportunity for potential competitors to have all their questions answered.
Representatives from the top teams in the circuit’s home championships will be on hand to provide free advice to budding race drivers. Answers to technical or regulatory questions will be given by the Castle Combe Racing Club officials and scrutineers.
Some of the latest in race wear will be on show from Merlin Motorsport and every championship registrant will go into a draw for a ‘worthwhile’ prize. Free tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
The event runs from 10:00 until 15:00 on Sunday 30 January and anyone interested may simply turn up on the day.
