Castle Combe Cash Back
Drivers competing at Castle Combe Circuit have received a massive cash bonus this year.
Just under £28,000 has been returned to competitors in the form of a cash back, based on the number of race starters for all visiting series, plus the Castle Combe Racing Club’s own championships - the National Mobile Windscreens Saloon Car Championship, the Melton Concrete Products Formula Ford 1600 Championship and the savesometax.co.uk Castle Combe Special GT Championship.
Competitions Director Steve Burns, commented, “When we started the new club at the beginning of the year, one of it’s main aims was to offer better value to our racing members. We felt that if the championship they compete in is attracting a large number of entries, then a percentage of the extra revenue should be returned to them. Totting up how much we have returned to competitors in our first year of operation hopefully shows how successful we have been in meeting this objective. As success breeds success, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to give back even more to the competitor.
