Castle Combe Racing Club

Formed to run all car racing at Castle Combe Circuit providing competitors with well organised and promoted meetings, strong competitive grids, and a variety of classes. All within an environment that recognises that drivers are the customers who make the whole sport possible. For spectators a promise to work towards varied race programmes with full grids, strong local championships and, wherever possible to run the type of racing and events you want to see, providing a great value for money day out.

Marshals and officials can expect to feel much more connected to “their” circuit where they are appreciated, respected and valued. The Club will constantly strive to gain, train, sustain and retain its marshals.

By integrating all aspects of race meetings, sponsors, whether supporting a driver, event or championship can expect greater exposure and involvement.

Above all, we will work to provide all our visitor and user groups, whether you come to participate, to organise, to entertain or to spectate, with exciting, fun and cost effective motorsport at Britain’s premier national racing venue.

Circuit Championships

For a new driver, the Castle Combe Circuit’s three home championships provide an ideal opportunity to learn race meeting etiquette and hone race craft. This is true whether you are a young driver or a more mature enthusiast with new found disposable income. Spectators get to know the drivers and cars, which also assists drivers in finding regional sponsorship.

The one circuit championships at Castle Combe, arguably the most successful in the country, attract full grids even though many national championships struggle to achieve double figures. Grouping races in one area reduces transport costs, which both novices and experienced drivers find particularly attractive. It’s not just the short travelling distances either, as testing can also be minimised once drivers familiarise themselves with the circuit and set up their cars accordingly.

There are three championships based exclusively at Castle Combe, catering for the Single Seater, Saloon and Sports Car enthusiast;
CASTLE COMBE FF1600 CHAMPIONSHIP
CASTLE COMBE SALOON CAR CHAMPIONSHIP
CASTLE COMBE SPORTS & GT CHAMPIONSHIP
